The agency holds two licensures: Class A (Medical) and Class B (Non-Medical). We also have an IHSS (no-skilled) sublicense attached to the Class B Licensure. We are accredited by ACHC and work with Medicaid and Medicare, as well as private pay.
We currently have 8 Long Term Medicaid Home Health clients, 1 private pay client and 2 ongoing Medicaid Pediatric Speech Therapy Clients. There are also 5 additional Medicaid cases in process pending approval of services. We frequently get short term Medicare referrals as well.
All of our current cases are long term cases. They are renewed every year for billing and certification purposes by case managers and Medicaid. These clients have chronic conditions but are young, therefore we anticipate having these cases for many years to come. These cases are fully staffed and most of them by relative CNA providers.
Most of our referrals come from hospitals and from a case manager at Single Entry Point agencies from various counties, where we are listed as approved Medicaid and Medicare providers. We do not do any official marketing; however, we have access to private referral sources.
